Edition 17 of The Knowledge Tree e-journal: Youth Learning the E-asy Way – now published!
http://login.alumni.net.au/ch/1cgq04c/568900/3dd83522d.html
Edition 17 explores how industry and registered training organisations (RTOs) are using e-learning to inspire young learners!A range of articles, case studies, interviews and a dynamic panel discussion give perspectives on engaging Gen Y learners, such as through the use of mobile devices for apprentices in the workplace and training within virtual worlds.
The content of Edition 17 provokes thinking and questioning on the learning of Gen Y, tensions between Web 2.0 ‘fun’ learning and more formal learning; and access to Internet-based technologies and duty of care issues.
