On the Tuesday I will be presenting findings from the Network project I have been facilitating for the Diploma of VET Practice. It is also a great opportunity for you to come along and see some of the great projects VET Practitioners have been working on this year:

NEW WAYS OF WORKING IN VET

Monday 17 November and Tuesday 18 November 2008 Crown Promenade Hotel, Southbank, Melbourne

The forum provides an opportunity for VET practitioners from around Australia to network, share and promote good practice in implementing the national training system.

Confirmed keynote speakers include Dr Peter Smith who will speak on insights from strategic and change management projects in RTOs (see new publication below) and Jane Figgis on ‘New Ways of Talking about New Ways of Working in VET’.

Another main feature includes displays and presentations on COAG RPL project activities from around Australia. At the Forum you can delve into and try out many of the new resources for RPL as well as talk with the project leaders. An Enterprises Enhanced by VET forum will be held each day (see below). These were initially conducted during August and were evaluated very highly by the participants.

This forum also showcases Reframing the Future project outcomes and provides one of the best opportunities for national networking by VET practitioners.
